2020 had its way with us, didn't it?! While there were many consequences from our Covid experience, we managed to learn tons of valuable skills that will enhance our life experiences: spending more time with family, slowing down, and appreciating life more in general.

Oh yeah, and we were out in the Sun a lot less last year, which for most of us, our skin is probably thanking us for the reduced UV exposure!

Everyone knows that the Sun is the primary cause of accelerated aging in the skin, and it's also one of the primary reasons we grow these weird spots on our faces and bodies that we commonly refer to as moles!

The truth is unless these growths were present on our bodies when we were younger (think adolescent period), there's a big chance that it's a skin imperfection or an irregularity that has grown due to genetics and UV exposure. In many cases, these skin imperfections are benign skin lesions, which means they can be easily treated with the SIIT Pro, a high-frequency, professional skincare machine that causes them to dry up and fall off in a matter of days.

Maybe you have or haven't heard of the term DPN; dermatosis papulosa nigra; it's one of the most common benign skin irregularities that affects more than 60% of African American, Latino, and Asian backgrounds. If the name still doesn't ring a bell - think of that great actor by the name of Morgan Freeman! Those "moles" on his face are what we call DPN. The crazy thing about DPN is that it can look quite different from person to person - but for the most part, once you've been properly educated on this skin condition, you're almost guaranteed to be able to recognize it 99% of the time. So what happens when that 2% of the time when you're almost certain - but aren't sure? What tools and resources do you utilize to make sure that you're safely treating a skin condition that you've been previously educated on; but still manage to find yourself stumped?

How about any of the other 3000 skin conditions out there that you'd like to be able to treat?

Well, all 3000 skin conditions aren't treatable with this type of machine. Still, for conditions that are treatable and most common, the SIIT Pro Masterclass goes in-depth to educate Skincare Professionals on identifying these lesions and how to provide treatments.

These Skincare Professionals range from Licensed Estheticians to RNs, PAs, and Derms with one common goal; To broaden their skillset and menu options to provide their clients and patients with results-oriented, clinical skincare treatments that are guaranteed to improve client satisfaction.

Attendees experienced a Full Day of Education at the beautiful Loews Atlanta hotel, where they received comprehensive knowledge of these skin conditions. Also, attendees viewed a live demonstration on a model - who displayed prominent DPN on her back.

Comprehensive education is paramount when offering this treatment - as the demographic that is most widely affected by these conditions also happens to be the demographic that will occasionally experience adverse effects when treated aggressively or by inexperienced Professionals.
