So glad he was found and unharmed. I have an 8 year old and I can't even imagine not knowing where she was or if she were safe for 2 straight days. That must have been awful! 😢

Not many 8 year olds would have known to stay in one place where you have shelter. Good stuff young man, glad you’re home safe! And to look at the bright side of things, maybe this will have sparked an interest in some of the outdoorsy things!

As a father of young ones I do get scared of situations like this. When camping or hiking we always use the buddy system.
