8 string guitars are so good for shredding. Spacious frets, octaves for days, and the ability to play mostly in one place rather than moving all over the neck is awesome

What’s really fucking fun is using a bass with a badass distortion pedal through a huge bass amp with the treble turned up all the way and the bass at mid range or below.

Of course playing extremely loud along with the drummer!!!
