In the 60s I worked in a Jewish ladies house. She was a survivor of Auschwitz. She despised the Zionists with a passion.when I asked her why she was living in Australia instead of Israel, she snorted in contempt and said "I could never live in a stolen country". This wonderful lady unable to have children of her own had fostered 10 bright aboriginal youths and put them through university. She was like a mother to me and until her passing I was invited to Shabbat many times. As I write this I only have to look up to see a photo of this wonderful caring woman on my wall.

From an outsider’s perspective, not a Muslim, not a Jew, not a Christian, I only hope for peace and tolerance towards as well as coexistence with one another. This is all too sad to be ignored and My heart breaks for all losses of life. Only the governments that are responsible for the deaths of innocent civilians must be prosecuted.
