As a guide of the world of Terraria, he was used to being sacrificed to the underworld and summon the wall of flesh. However, he did not like the idea of a wiki, as he was self-centered and believed he should be the only one to provide information. He grew a foul attitude and he began attacking the players and even other NPCs. The unfortunate part is that no player can hurt him, not even the developers. So the player can only watch in horror as this Guide attacked everyone mercilessly, praying that he wouldn't go after them. He usually didn't attack the player unless he knew that they have been using the wiki to get information.

And that's what happened when 20 year old Alex played her copy of Terraria, which had been pirated, which is just begging to attract MISGUIDED. At first, the game was normal, the Guide's name was Andrew, meaning he could drop the green cap. However, after she played for a while, Alex began to notice that the blocks were strange. Some of the textures were wrong, and ores were stronger than usual, strong enough to where her copper pickaxe couldn't even break copper ore. Thinking it was a bug, Alex reported the issue to Re-Logic, but instead of them responding, the message failed to send, instead she got a pop-up window saying "Don't try to play weak." Panicked, Alex turned the computer off and went to bed.

However, MISGUIDED managed to turn the computer back on and he snatched her soul from her body in the same way you would drag a bag of potatoes. It was a good few hours before she woke up, but when she did, she looked around and noticed something was off. She was in the game, and she was the Mechanic, with the name Terra. She looked in front of her and saw the Guide, but his eyes were hidden. He said, in a silent, but very aggressive, raspy voice, "I am supposed to be the one you go to for help. Not some stupid wiki"

In a fit of panic, Alex tried to run, but somehow she wasn't able to. MISGUIDED had altered the code for the mechanic specifically to prevent her from moving. As he approached her, Alex noticed a strange sword in his hand. It was the Zenith, with no modifiers. Normally, NPCs shouldn't be able to wield the Zenith unless you make a mod, but this was the vanilla game. She watched in horror before MISGUIDED swung the sword, sending a large amount of sword projectiles flying in her direction. And with that, her world went dark.

Misgueded story that i created:after dying many times just to make the wall of flash spawn the guide got angry and decided to do something. one day a new terraria player downloaded the game and created his world and everything was normal until when he would defeat the wall of flesh he was unsure about how to make the infernal bars and went to check the guide on how to craft but the guide was strange there was only one item appearing to be created called "your soul" it had the sprite of a common hardmode soul but the player was in pre-hardmode and he was intrigued because he had never heard of that item but he still decided to go after it and he looked for everything but couldn't, but when he went to click on the "help" tab in the guide to see if the guide taught how to achieve it he simply died and when he returned to the guide, "your soul" was dropped on the floor and he was very excited because he thought it was a new animation and decided to record for his channel to be the first to talk about the subject. He researched and didn't see a video talking about it and was very happy for being the first to talk about So he went to craft the hell bars but couldn't and went back to the guide but all his tips were wrong and his name had changed to misguided the player thought it was a bug because it was a new update and that could be only a glitch So he saw a video on how to do hell bars and went back to playing normally but he saw that the item "his soul" disappeared from his inventory He was sad because he couldn't make the video anymore but it was recorded and could become lostmedia So he continued recording and went to hell to face the wall of flesh but for some reason he couldn't find the monster carrying the guide's doll But he still kept looking until he found it. but he had already died and was decapitated and the guide was next to him they were at the end of the bridge where he would throw the guide's dummy but the one who was there was the guide with the item "your soul" in his hands and then the game crashed and the boy was very scared and decided to watch his recording but when he watch.the video was only recorded until the part where he dies in front of the guide He got very angry and thought his PC had a virus and that was why everything was going wrong but then your pc started terraria with just one button to click "world 1"He tried to turn it off but nothing worked. so he decided to open the game and try to play normally as he was eager to defeat the wall of flesh but when he join his character was on the floor destroyed full of blood and the guide was at the end of the bridge with his back turned with the item "your soul" and then the guide looked at the screen and said "it was good guiding you" and threw the item into the lava. When he did this the boy began to feel very short of breath and vomit blood. then he fell to the ground and the video he had recorded started playing but now it showed his character on the ground in the same position he was in real life covered in blood. and then the terraria music started playing really loud and the message appeared on his computer screen "did you like the feeling?" and the player unfortunately died and to this day no one knows what happened, what is known and that he was missguided.
