Your patent application is a complex document, but it can be broken down into 3 parts:
1. Drawings: this is the first part of the application, which explains your invention through figures.
2. Description: a detailed description that fully explains the drawing is necessary to accompany any application.
3. Claims: this is where you are capturing your idea and what will be later enforced in litigation.
