In this video I go over the Windows Phone 8 leaked details including sharing the kernel with Windows 8, tight Windows 8 integration and support for easy porting of Windows 8 Metro apps to Windows Phone 8, support for dual core and quad core processors, new screen resolutions (most like 1280x720 720p HD), a new version of Internet Explorer 10, a Skype app along with NFC support. Windows Phone 8 should be available later this year for current and new Windows Phones including the Nokia Lumia 800, Lumia 900, Samsung Focus Flash and many more.

The NFC feature will also be used for the "tap to share" feature between devices built with W8. So, with a simple "swipe" you can share links, pictures, vids, documents, files etc. between all your W8 devices(WP, Tablet, Labtop, PC)

Thanks for any info you can give :) I was only interested in the Android but since you have to buy the newest hardware to get the latest stuff I am waiting to see what falls from Windows and the Apple trees.

I love my Windows Phone! I'm definitely looking forward to Windows Phone 8. Windows 8 looks so slick, so WP8 should look just as slick, and being able to integrate your apps from Windows 8 onto your WP is really nice. I hope with WP8 they'll get some more apps that we users have been begging for (DrawSomething, Instagram). The demand is high, so I hope they deliver.

Between the music experience on Win8+WP+XBOX and the incredible battery life, can't wait for what WP8 is going to bring. I charge my phone Friday night and it doesn't need to get plugged in until sometime late Sunday. With Android (I've had Skyrocket, Galaxy I, and NEX) it was a constant battle with the battery. (even with Juice defender)

Knew MS had a great rethought UI concept when I got my first ZuneHD. Been a fan since.

Zune software isn't clunky. After owning a Zune HD, it was the deciding factor in getting Windows phone over the others. No easier way to manually sort music and movies. iTunes can suck it.

And the single core processor was implemented to have 100% control over the operation of the OS. Win7 never freezes, no hang ups. Best phone OS so far. I am in no rush to upgrade. Only thing I look forward to is hopefully more apps in the future. It would be nice to have a remote-start app for my car.-Onstar

I have high hopes for windows when it comes to Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8....once they have an App Store/market/whatever on desktops developers would love to develop for that 700 million+ community

So am I! A matter of fact, my wife won me an Ipad 2 for Father's Day, which was the only way I would every use iCrap. I wouldn't allow her to spend any money on that brand. When I finally return home for vacation to get it, I may just get all the bells and whistels added, and give it back to her. She's been soaking in all that iCrap hype, so she can have it. My goal is to get the high-end Windows Surface Pro, and the Windows 8 Phone. Also, I will be upgrading all of my family's laptops to W8.

I have a WP7 LG Quantum. I won't be getting a new Windows phone for a couple of years, but I do hope they come out with a WP8 that has a physical keyboard....and its made by Nokia. :-) Thanks for the video.

Nokia says that the Lumia 900 and a possibly a few otherswill receive the Apollo update. The other phones will get the "Tango" update which is 7.7 or 7.8. Hope this helped! :-)

Yup, now imagine a Windows Phone with a dual core Intel Atom Clover Trail CPU, 2GB RAM, 64GB eMMC storage, A 4.7 Super AMOLED HD screen, A physical keyboard and a pointer ball as a mouse on the keyboard, and last but not least, full Windows 8 with the desktop and everything.

Windows phone 8 looks like is gonna be very competitive with android and ios.

Yup, but because of the possibility of people less tech-proficient bricking their phone they wouldn't risk it because it would ruin their reputation if people started complaining about an 'update' breaking their phones, it would be really nice if they gave us the option of taking our phones to stores and having a techie flash it for us but that would cost money for then to do :C

unfortunately WP8 uses a different Kernel to 7.x so if they were going to upgrade everybody's phones to WP8 then they would have to recall every single handset and re-flash the ROM, which in some cases (perhaps in all cases) could fail and require the handset to be formatted to try again, losing all of your data. It should be possible for the hardware in our current phones to run WP8 but it's impractical to implement

What WP8 needs is 1080p, better screen resolution, SUPER amoled not just amoled display, multi core processors and voice/face recognition. Galaxy s3 is about to own the mobile world and a sterdy nokia WP8 is what will bring Windows back into the mobile race and bring nokia back to its rightful place ontop of the mobile market
