I am mid twenties Asian man. For a long time growing up, comments like the ones mentioned by the ladies in the video hurt my self esteem quite a bit and made me internalize self hatred, as if my race makes me somehow unworthy. As an adult, I am very happy to tell say that I am no longer attracted to women who hold such views, and if you are an Asian brotha who feels down because certain women hold these views, just know that you're not alone. This applies to any man who is rejected by women of their own race tbh. There are plenty of women who do not share those views. Do not forget that the most important opinion is your own opinion of yourself. Keep your chin up and don't settle for crumbs.

Asian dudes are actually good men. Hard working, intelligent, humble and loyal as shit. If there was every any race I wish I could befriend more, it would be Asians.

As an Asian guy, we rarely consider dating Asian girls who have emerged in Western dating culture, because from our point of view, it is a Free for All in which anyone can fck anybody, and can be as promiscuous and degenerated as you can without significant consequence. If it's a Western girl, it might be tolerable for some because they were born in that environment, but an Asian girl who embrace that kind of dating culture despite having alternatives is a Massive Red Flag.

Latino here, I don't know if it's just me but I find it weird when people aren't attracted to their own race.
I get if someone from another race isn't attracted to you, maybe they're not used to your features, but when is your own people I feel like they might have some self hating thing going on.
That said, at the end of the day, you like what you like, and life's too short, date who you like, just don't be a hater and be respectful to the one's your not attracted to .

I commented this on another Whatever clip: I've heard this all throughout high school. If Asian women, or any women for that matter, discriminate against you for your colour/race/ethnicity, avoid them at all costs. They've just filtered themselves FOR you. Move on to better women :)

As a Asian woman I find it pathetic of these girls. Even tho there is nothing wrong with interracial dating but when it comes to hating your own culture and people or having a fetish for another race is what I have problem with. Asian men are responsible and are hard working especially the Vietnamese places I use to work in. If anyone who feels the need to trash their own race and brag that they rather date other races nobody is impressed if anything people find it embarrassing how little you think of your own culture. I never understood some Asian women who I grew up with say they won’t date a Asian man but end with the most weak/mid looking white guy. And end up divorced because most half Asians I known is that their parents aren’t even together.

I've said this in another @whatever clip but I'll repeat it here for transparency: No one quite emasculates Asian men like Asian women. I know 2 very close Asian women, neither have ever dated an Asian man and they both had the exact same excuse: I feel like I'm dating my brother.

The vitriol against disliking your own race is rooted in a very deep seated sense of self hatred. The first girl said "ASIAN" almost like it was on the tip of her tongue. She didn't even feel shame, she was almost brushing her shoulders off after having said it. LOL

This is because of many years of Asian women trying desperately to adopt Eurocentric beauty standards. Everything from eye and nose surgeries and skin bleaching to having hard dating preferences towards White men to satisfy their insecurities about their own heritage. It's sad to see people choosing to abandon their own race so quickly to adapt to whatever predominant culture they want to fit in with.
