As the owner of both a German Shepherd and a husky I'd say I'm the winner, they're both the best wingmen in every situation I've ever had, and my kids agree.

I had a GS/husky mix before and I gotta tell ya he was the BEST dog ever and I've had quite a few. He will always remain my favorite and it I have a chance to have another one I would take it in a heartbeat. They are very smart, loyal, protective, easy to train, and loving as all hell. Best breed combo!

We've had our husky for almost 1 yr, and he's turning 4 yrs old. I don't trust him sometimes. He's closer to my wife, but he's protective of all of us, especially our bordercollie. He doesn't like it if you get too close. I call him a sour patch kid

Huskies are just here for the snuggles. Also, they seem to also have separation anxiety. They can not be left alone, they should always be with someone either another dog or a human.

I had a husky and German shepherd mix. He was the sweetest most loyal dog I have ever owned. Words can’t even explain my love for him, and how good of a dog he was. He listened so well, and was extremely loving and gentle ❤

I have a husky German shepherd, and she is such a wonderful dog, very clever loyal protective and extremely loving dog. I wouldn't change her for another dog. I have the best of both in one.

my 3mo husky is really smart, he can learn tricks fairly fast but... he doesn't like to listen, he prefers to sing 😂

Huskies are actually very intelligent, the GSD aims to please while the Husky aims to live free. Huskies like to be rewarded for doing commands, if they don't see any benefit in it (treats) then they are more than likely to just ignore you. I have a Husky and a GSD, training wise my Husky actually learned all of my commands faster than my GSD. He can do every command my GSD can. The biggest difference is that my GSD can do them lighting fast without being rewarded except with a " good girl ", my husky on the other hand is like " I don't see any treats in your hands!" 😂
