This was a bad take

I Do Know Nothing Reacts To: L take. Wolverine is one of marvels best characters. Saying Hugh Jackman is the only actor who can play him is dumb. That’s like saying only one actor can play Batman or Spiderman, which we know isn’t true

Okay, so if you don’t what’s going on, I posted a video regarding a rumour that the MCU’s Wolverine won’t be in the MCU’s X-Men and will be played by Hugh Jackman.

The Marvel Studios ‘X-MEN’ reboot film will reportedly not include Wolverine

Reason is Hugh Jackman will continue to play the role, even after ‘AVENGERS: SECRET WARS’

So no to him being the MCU Wolverine. Noted and understandable. BUT that doesn't mean he shouldn't still play as Wolverine, especially in Secret Wars where I've seen several rumors about Tobey and Hugh interacting as Spidey and Wolvey. I'd say after that, BAM! Goodbye to Hugh as Wolverine. He was peak

A mentor Wolverine sounds great. The issue with recasting Wolverine is that then they want to do his entire story again but slightly to the left this time. Fox has build up Wolverine over 20 years, I don't really see the point in doing that again. Or opposite to that, they're gonna skip over everything and just assume we know his story, but at that point you might as well just get back Wolverine.

We need to ask ourselves, what do we want to see from a Wolverine in the mcu? (Besides him being short) Personally I want to see him team up with characters fox couldn't team him up with, so Avengers and Spider-man for example, and I think that's going to hit a lot harder if it's the Wolverine we already know and love. Secondly I want him to take a backseat with the X-men, he already took over the fox movies, it's now time for them to fully flesh out the other members. By stepping into the teacher role and becoming a mentor, basically what DoFP set up for him, I think they could do just that. And if they want a younger wolverine on the team, just use Laura. As long as Hugh Jackman wants to play the role, and we know he wants to, I think he should.

And it's not like he's that old in comparison to the other actors, RDJ is 59, Jeremy Renner 53, Paul Rudd 55, Mark Ruffalo 56, they just casted Pedro Pascal as Mr Fantastic, he's almost 50 as well. Plus at least he still looks way younger than in Logan, which already proved they can pull off an older... well, Logan. He can easily pull of at least another 10 years looking younger than that. I would be kinda surprised if the MCU still has enough gas by that point to go on far beyond that.

I want a new Logan. I don't to see a 60+ year old dude playing a character in the MCU especially when he'll probably be used for decades.

ngl cavilrine in the mcu would be goated, but he should prob play sentry or knull

I’ve heard some people say that they should have Laura be Wolverine. Which I completely disagree with because we have enough legacy characters in the MCU already, so we need an actual Logan. Not to mention the general audience would cry “WOKE” thinking she was a gender-swapped Wolverine.

I remember Hugh Jackman saying that Logan would be his last Wolverine interpretation unless he could join the MCU with the rest of the cast.
So I don't see why is a problem, as long as the man wants it. He seems to be very healthy, works out a lot and eats well.
That being said... When he states he's feeling tired, or gives any signs of pain, that will be it for me.

Heard rumour of Scott Eastwood have send several request to Kevin Feige to play Wolverine on the past, if he really want to play as Wolverine, he need to improve as actor because he already got that Logan look and the fact that Logan is literally inspired by his father

For example, is there anyone who could play Tony Stark? Yes, someone certainly can. Do I want someone else to play Tony Stark? Not really.. Do I want them milking RDJ? Also no..

I want a short actor. Also, don’t make Wolverine the main mcu X-men leader. It should be cyclops.

Ok, here's what I think. I'm very glad that Hugh Jackman was brought back for D&W, I think it was the comeback the MCU needed not only to regain public interest, but to have a nice sendoff for the Fox era of Marvel movies. However, I don't want Marvel to keep milking Jackman's appeal by making him do movies "until he's 90", similar to how we were hearing rumors that Tobey and Andrew would be brought back for Tom Holland's Spider-Man 4 (it doesn't look like that's happening anymore but you get the point). If that were to happen, it would greatly diminish their appeal, and besides, they and Hugh Jackman are starting to get too old to play these roles, Tobey especially. He's supposed to be a college kid, or at least not much older than that, but he looks like he's 40 something in No Way Home. Now granted, we as viewers kind of dismissed this issue because of the hype surrounding his and Andrew's return after so many years, but the point is, Jackman has to stop somewhere. Wolverine is a very physically taxing role, perhaps even more so than playing Spider-Man, and while I acknowledge your idea of Logan playing a mentor in the MCU X-Men reboot, that also creates problems because then you have two Wolverine's within the same continuity (assuming they introduce Wolverine into the new X-Men lineup later down the line). I think that Hugh Jackman, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and really all the legacy Marvel actors should have their final FINAL swan song in Avengers: Secret Wars, because it seems to be the movie that's bringing together every possible character from every possible franchise from Marvel's vast film history, so it makes sense to end everything there with a big giant multiversal reboot, leading us into the MCU mutant saga, where we have a new X-Men team, with a fresh new actor (hopefully) playing a more comic accurate Wolverine, that isn't trying to step on or live up to Hugh Jackman's legacy, but rather portraying the character in a unique and interesting way. And in my opinion, if Marvel absolutely feels the need to bring back Hugh Jackman after Secret Wars, it should be for nothing more than a short cameo, akin to First Class or the Charles Martinet cameo in the Mario Movie, as a way to remind us of the true OG.

I hope they get Henry Cavill to play Wolverine.

If Hugh himself wants to keep playing Wolverine for the mcu, I won’t mind it.

If he wants out but Disney keeps making him do it (till he’s 90) then that’s when I would worry.

I wouldn’t worry if all the leaks are saying he’s gonna be the mcu Wolverine, if he personally wants to keep doing it, then let him lmao.

What they should do for MCU Wolverine is that do not have a part of the initial X-Men lineup. Instead give him his own movie (by the way, it should be Rated R) and then make him a member of the X-Men later. Also, I think the best decision for Wolverine in terms of the casting, I would recast the character no matter if it's Henry Cavill or anyone else.

They should just cast his son Daken to fill the wolverine void. Plus it ties good into the mentor theme too.
