Hi Sir, I know this is a silly question but I'm a bit confused. I understand that for the probability in this example of multiple numbers coming up you add the probabilities of each together. Why is this different from the GCSE probability "and or rule"? where you would multiply the answers. Thank you.

hi im a bit confused as the Q is asking for the prob when its big X e.g. P X>1 surely its more correct to use P of little x e.g p x>1
as the outcomes in the table are for little x
could you please help me with this ???
