Fools. Tow range drops by half while pulling a boat / camper / quads ... so even a range of 500 means I really have 250. Not gunna cut it rich tech guy. I’ll keep my V8 that takes 2 minutes to refuel

I live in Montana, where gas stations are far apart and charging stations (if you count RV parks with 220V Hookups) are even farther. In the worst of winter and east of the Continental Divide, temperatures can go to well below zero in the winter all the way up to the triple digits in the summer. Drastic weather and temperature changes are the norm. Along with the rigors of gravel roads and the rigors of agricultural work, we could really put these pickups to the test and then some. While the technology looks very promising, I've adopted a wait and see attitude on electric trucks

I remember when Pickup were pure UTILITY work horses. How much would the price go down if we left out all the LUXURY trim out? Just Cloth seats, rubber mats and a AM radio ;)

Good luck going on a long trip pulling a 5th wheel trailer. Range will be the issue. Will the battery’s work well in the cold? Will they overheat in the Arizona heat when the A/C is blasting? The electric motor thing is great. Better to have a Diesel electric truck.
