Sun Visor Installation - Building the Raptor Prototype

Well, I'm pretty much down to cleaning windows and installing sun visors while I wait for the prop shaft to be completed. It has been shipped from the plater back to the machine shop and should arrive on Monday when I'll be picking it up. Then on Tuesday I can assemble the redrive and hopefully the constant speed feature on the prop is then operational and I can get on with taxi testing.

To eliminate noise in the spring, force some foam rubber down the inside - an old guitar trick treatment of tremolo springs.

How will you compensate for sagging of the lord engine mounts as they age in relation to the alignment between the crankshaft, the flexible coupling, and the prop reduction unit that is connected to the engine mount?

Is the engine hard mounted? I missed a few parts (or likely forgot)when it was in and out. I’m sure you know to be mindful of securing hard lines coming off the engine to the chassis.

What about putting a rubber tube over the coil spring, no oil and it will last a long time and look better.

Nice install of the visors. have a question about the fuel stickers. I thought your engine was a water cooled Diesel. Does it run on Jet fuel or did you change the engine?
