666 is the number of the beast (according to records we understand, some suggest it is 616)
The beast, often referred to as Satan was also called Lucifer, despite the two being recognised as different entities
Lucifer betrayed (or was betrayed by depending on belief) God according to the theistic beliefs who then sent him to Hell as the Devil (my knowledge is a tad fuzzy).

So either an AMAZING coincidence or this song was inspired by the Devil.

When they go into the dialogue part (and in some other places) it sounds really really loud but almost in a way that takes away the quality. I wonder if that's just me, youtube, or if it's really like that on the album
