I just discovered this album a week ago, and I CANT PUT IT DOWN!!! I love Within Temptation, Nightwish, Halestorm...But this incarnation of Xandria, just blows them all out! I am knocked over by a symphonic metal band that has such an edgy sound with an exquisite opera trained lead vocalist like Dianne Van Giersbergen. I never thought I would find myself listening to such maelstrom of different musical styles; all thrown together.

I felt it catchy, strong, speedy & melodic.
And now I feel self-shame for not listening more to them.
The only band I know I can relate this to doesn't really have a nice vocalist but this woman has to be the best voice I've heard.

I just reach the conclusion of that Dianne Van does not sing... She FEELS and EXPRESS in multiple forms the entire song and lyric.



And due to that she not only express that feeling just by singing, she put her power, voice and the whole spirit into a limit-breaking status. Her voice turns majestic magnifique, her expressions singing[Which you absolutely see that feeling just by seeing her smile in all songs she sings especially in lives.. Yes, exactly.. She expresses HAPPINESS], her theatric antics[Which makes you feel Dianne is incorporating a character created especifically for each song she sings]



In a world so covered by darkness, greed and futile things, people who irradiates a light like Dianne does are capable to change this world to the better.


I'm just proud of discovering talented and kind singers like Dianne. Feel bad for what she passed about Xandria, but i'm happy that her band is her righteous and truly home, which she's happy by doing her stuff and keep singing with the same [if not even better] talent she revealed in Xandria.


Symphonic Metal is truly a box with precious gems, and Dianne Van Giersbergen is definitely one of those.
