I feel he is moving Mozart into another realm with his playing, and the orchestra is fabulously making that new sound possible. A perfect collaboration. I am totally whistling this one in my apartment! No doubt--for me--this is the best Mozart Piano Concerto I have ever heard. Buchbinder... Talk about landing on the note!

It's excellent! The orchestra and pianist deliver a performance of this popular concerto that feels refreshingly different from many continental interpretations. They seem to possess not only superb technique but also a deeper connection to the music's authenticity. This Austrian pianist's choice of tempo is superb, and his sense of space is wonderful. I would have liked more energy in his playing. The orchestra blends with him impeccably, near the refined level of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. ----an American pianist

Я так и не поняла, у этого замечательного и блистательного пианиста кто более любим, мой возлюбленный Моцарт или его тень Бетховен? Все должны знать, что по закону чисел только у Моцарта есть 2 божественных числа 1 и 9 в отличие от других композиторов. Альфа и омега.
