I thought it was interesting that the Temptalia palettes were designed for deep first and the light versions were the alternate versions.

I was planning on buying the whole collaboration from SG Temptalia but after seeing the actual colors I decided I need just one. The color story is beautiful in each palette but when combined, I feel they are kind of repetitive.

With the mikayla palette I think it would be better if it was one row warm tone neutral and one cool tone neutral to get the best of both worlds and cater to everyone. 🙂

I'd love to buy the Glamlite palette but will pass on it because among the Cake, Ice Cream Dream, Taco and (original) Donut palettes, which I already own, I feel like I already have all of these shades.

I passed up on the glamlite and mikayla vollab. The pallet is too similar to the ice cream palette but deeper in tone with the colorful shades. And I agree, the top two rows don't mesh with the bottom 3.

I love deep looks and jewel tones and I'm in LOVE with the SG x Temptalia collab. It is as much up my alley as very few palettes have been before. I don't find this confusing at all, she made everything clear on her blog, even advices on which version (light/deep) of a palette would be a better choice for different people.
Also, she made it clear that she wanted to add more cool tones to the niche on the market and this is not a collection for people who don't like greens and purples.

I bought the Mikayla palette, and used your code for the discount. I love their formula, and couldn't pass up the purples. I also used your code to get the Icing, and I bought the white and the lightest color. They are pretty good for 10.00. I think the Mikayla palette has similar colors as the Norvina

I’m SO excited for Temptalia’s palettes. They’re the only release that’s gotten me this excited in a while. I agree with you that the promo pic was definitely really chaotic and confusing, but when I see each palette by itself, they all give me different vibes and have colors I’d love to add to my collection. I’ve been reading Christine’s posts on them and I really respect the amount of thought she put into them, both into curating the color schemes and being inclusive.

All that being said, just on principle, I’m not going to get them at launch because I want to wait for reviews before buying. So I’m glad you’re getting them, and I’m eagerly anticipating your videos with them!

I’m getting all the temptalia palettes if I can in light. ❤️ I totally agree about the promo pic… when they’re separated, it’s less overwhelming.

I like the colour story of the temptalia palettes! What I wish they had done was slowly release the 3 palettes 1 by 1 (well 2 by 2 because of the dif versions). It’s overwhelming to have them all released at once!

After seeing all the Sydney Grace Temptalia palettes I am going pass I was hyped when they 1st announced it and sneek peeks but after seeing them all its nothing I don't already own in my collection. I hope they have a great launch I will enjoy the reviews. I of course grabbed Devinahs new launch and couple shades from Clindoah mini restock and I grabbed the Glamlite primer today with Makalia palette

Excited for the new Devinah Halo moon collection. Other than that nothing really calls my name. The only makeup I’ve been really amped about & into lately have been Indie single shadows and skin tints haha. I did make a Terra Moons preorder for some of their newer multi chromes and sparkly shades so I’m excited to get those & play with them. I thought my eyeshadow palette love would never fade but lately I’ve been meh about them. The last palette I bought was the Club Nebula. Ive been preferring to create my own with singles. That may change, we shall see haha. Thanks for sharing Amy, love these new makeup releases & hearing all your thoughts 💭💛🌞

The top 2 rows in the glamlite palette look the same like it dupes itself or something. Not certain if I'm just seeing it that way from the photos

I feel ya on the Glam lite palette, im looking at it like 2 palettes in one 🤷‍♀️ i can see a little cross over but totally agree it should have been true neutral or cools. Only saw her once in a mini clip video compilation on fb. The Temptalia palettes are pretty but doesn't speak to me. There's like 2 shades in ea palette i want, not enough to buy a whole palette. Melt <yawn>, pass on Manny, Ta is pretty but repeative for my collection. I was on team CP fail for the Neon launch 🤣 had they marketed it as a pop, cool but they didnt, not to mention those are renamed neon shades from the 2019 Festival launch 😎 actually picking up the KKW palette, gorgeous and she has a decent formula.

For the SG x Temptalia collab, I feel like all three palettes look the same. So, you only need one to get a similar variation of looks.

Based on the packaging and promo pics, it could have been more dedicated and curated colour stories, to entice people to buy all three.

One should have been purples, pinks, blues and teals. The second should have been greens, chartreuse, gray and yellow. The third could have been taupes, silvers, neutrals.

Based on the original promos, I thought I would buy the bundle. I am going to hold off and try to pick up the Tiny Marvels palette instead, maybe in fall.

I feel like I'm in the same boat as you with the Glamlite palette. I honestly wish either the top two rows weren't there or like you said, were cool toned instead. I keep going back and forth on it.

You’re right about the SG Temptalia palettes promo being confusing/overwhelming, I do plan on getting just one of the palettes though. Also I don’t own any Glamlite products but I want that collab palette 😍.
