Download Vcard/VCF Contact Card - NFC tags/NFC Business card

Hello! Today we talk about how to add a contact card to an NFC chip. The contact card is basically a .VCF file otherwise known as a vcard. Using a free and easy to use website we can convert a Vcard .VCF file into a web link, because of this we are able to program this link directly into an NFC chip, NFC business card, NFC wristband, Etc.

When the NFC chip is tapped with a smartphone, Your phone will automatically download the contact information from the chip and open up the file for you to view. You do not need any external apps to do this as most phone today have NFC reading native in the phone.

I've been using a DOT card for a few years now. When MKBHD showed they were using fake ads using his voice, I chopped my card up and ordered some blank cards, and used the steps in your video. Thanks!

at 3:33 does not do this for me here, it asks me and sends me a download file, and... opening this then says - unable to read Vcard data

So iphones will only read urls and not files? Android will read the vcard file from the tag and save it.

I have a questions, I programed an nfct tag to connect to my wifi, and I glued on the wall so everybody that comes over could read it
But only my phone is doing the job, event tho the others phone has the NFC technology. What's the problem? Can you help me?

Great video, easy to understand. My question is, why does the organisation address not appear when you tap the card? is this something that does not get transferred? using a iphone..

Doesn't work for me for Android phone. Chrome downloads the file and opens the folder, I can then open it which saves the contact in my contact book, but it does so in the background. Not working well for newest Android.

Have you tried adding a contact picture? Even when I add it, it is not displayed even though I made sure it was under 256 kb.

Hey quick question.. have an iphone 13 mini. Downloaded the app and did everything you did to the T to make the .vcf address. Everything said it was done with the blue check mark and when read the card with the app you see the custom web link. When i put the card on the top back of the iphone nothing happens??? What do you think??
