Trump administration to preserve unfavorable trade status with China

The US government is preparing a review of China's market economy status under the World Trade Organization (WTO), according to the US Commerce Department website.

The US Steelworkers Union supported the move and urged the government not to recognize China's market economy status as it did last December.
