The amount of people in the comments ridiculing and judging this man is disturbing. Regardless of whether he is right or not, Jesus the Christ did not say "defend man's translation of my word and attack those who challenge the book you/your denomination chose to use"

Where did we lose are way? We are to love our neighbor and our enemy. We are all sons and daughters of God, saved by the Son of man; Jesus the Christ. Defending your chosen translation, in the way that many are doing in the comments, is not Christ-like and goes against the Commandments.

Infighting, such as displayed below, is from the Devil.

St. Mathew 7:3 "and why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?"

The NASB does an incredible job of being as close to literal as possible. It is probably my favorite translation. It is completely transparent on what verses are not included in early manuscripts. It not only italicizes English words that they have added to make the text understandable in our language but it also puts Old Testament quotes, when they are used by the New Testament authors, in small capital letters. There’s a reason the NASB is used by more seminaries and Bible scholars than any other translation..You do not have to give up your King James Bible to use the NASB along with it. I use my King James Bible along with the NASB, NKJV, and ESV to try to understand God’s word as deeply as possible. I’m truly grateful that God has allowed us to discover, to date, almost 5, 800 Greek New Testament manuscripts, the Dead Sea scrolls, etc..To enable us to better discern and understand his Word. God bless you! Thanks for the videos

I use only the KJV and the NASB95 together. You don't really need anything else. The KJV is based off of the correct Greek (TR) but the NASB95 is clearer in English in some spots, for example Galatians 2:17. I have been helped by having the NASB95 to read with the KJV. The KJV is here to stay and it is more than adequate for salvation (justification, sanctification and glorification of the believer) and all other doctrines. The NASB is profitable for smoothing out some tough old English issues of syntax and verb tenses for modern readers. I love them both.

It seems whenever there is a conversation about which version is correct it always turns into a comparison to the KJV and the version in question. That defeats the whole purpose of the argument. You can't make decide which one is correct when you are using one of the versions as the standard of comparison. What manuscripts are used for the translation in question? what manuscripts were used for KJV? What are the early manuscripts that NASB talks about? What weight do the Dead Sea Scrolls hold in the new translation being that the KJV was translated before the DSC were found? God preserves His Word in the hearts and hands of the prophets He spoke through. Not through the King James Bible. Some people have turned the King James Bible into an idol.

There is actually a small portion of the KJV that was taken from the Vulgate. I love the KJV, but I love the NASB as well... Both Gods word.

I noticed that niv will say that most early manuscript do not have that verse and so do csb and after this year I'm going back to kjv because nkjv has less wording than the kjv

Try doing a comparison of all places the NKJV followed the TR where the KJV did not.

Tengo una versión de la King James en una app de celular que hizo cambios en las palabras antiguas de la 1611 pero sin caer en cambiar su texto, de la mamera que lo hace la NKJV. Pero no sé cómo comoseguirla en físico.

The 77 also has all these verses. It's not like they recently did this back in 95.

Sir, why do you not believe the Trinity? I respect your opinion in many regards, but on that one issue it seems like I am having a hard time seeing the debate from your side of the aisle. Do you still believe that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are God?
