Here’s a tip to remember for French Pronouns
Elle = She
iL = Hé
Ils = They (masc)
Elles = They (Fem
In French “Boys” Are always stronger than girls (unequality ik )
Eg . They are Beautiful (imagine there’s a Bunch of girls sitting and only one boy )
So As I said Boys are more “powerful” in French so Instead of They are beautiful in feminine it will be they are beautiful in masculine due to that one boy who is powerful than any girl, so the sentence shall be : ils sont beaux
And Nouns Do have gender in French (I know it’s Illogical)
So there’s many exceptions But usually when a Noun ends with An “e” It’s feminine like La Fille “fille” is ending with E so it’s usually feminine however there are many exceptions, Consider these feminine word endings: –esse, –enne, –euse, –orde, –ance, –ouche, etc. If you notice a word that ends in -e, most of the time that word is feminine. Example
Fem Endings. Examples meaning
-anse danse dance
-ette raquette racket
-esse princesse princes
-ance chance luck, chance
-eine reine queen

There are a couple exceptions to the ends in –e rule. Typically words that end in –ege, –eme, –ome, –aume, –age and –isme are masculine. The following endings also tend to be masculine: –an, –ent, – ai, – ou, –et, –eu, –ut, –is, –il, and –ex.

Masc Ending Example Meaning
-age village village
-isme cyclisme cycling
-eau bateau boat

Some endings are typically masculine, such as –on, but it will often be feminine if you find it coming after a letter s or the letter c. Th masculine noun that end in consonants like t, x, d, l, f, m or s, etc. tend to all be masculine, any French professional do correct means I just started learning french at school for only 6-8 months, im indian btw

The beauty of Romance languages. 😝
As a Spanish and French speaker myself, I know genders can be a relatively hot mess. 😁

That’s not that bad of a French quiz, once you get the hang of pronouns it’s fairly easy.
Also for anyone who’s wondering if there’s a singular “they”, there is, it’s iel/lo (instead of il/le ou elle/la) hope this helped

Bicyclette and vélo both referring to a bicycle. The first is feminine and the latter is masculine. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Nouns have "genders" in a lot of languages. It's kinda weird to me that English speakers don't assign certain genders to objects. But than again, English has no cases, so gendering nouns would be counterproductive. This simplicity is actually one of the reasons English is modern day lingua franca
