Attributes and Skills Changes w/ Cyberpunk 2.0 Update! (Everything You Need To Know)

In this video I briefly go over some of the changes to the attributes, perk trees and skill points. In more detailed videos, i will be breaking down each individual skill tree.

Im new to the game and every creator I've watched has skipped past the attribute points as quickly as possible, thanks for taking your time and explaining it properly

Headhunter(Cool): To level up this skill you need to get headshots with ranged, melee or thrown weapons, use silenced ranged weapons to kill enemies, or use stealth and/or Optical Camo to hide from enemies.
Netrunner(Intelligence): To level up this skill you need to use quick hacks to kill/neutralize enemies, breach protocol on computers and wireless networks, and Overclock to convert health to RAM. Use of Monowire and Smart weapons will also add points to this skill.
Shinobi(Reflexes): To level up this skill you need to use bladed weapons, auto Rifles or SMGs to kill enemies. Use of Sandevistan cyberware to make a kill will also contribute to this skill.
Solo(Body): To level up this skill you need to use Shotguns, Blunt weapons or unarmed Melee strikes to kill enemies. Use of Berserk Cyberware & Adrenaline Rush will also contribute to this skill.
Engineer(Technical Ability): To level up this skill you need to use explosives like grenades or Tech weapons to kill enemies. Crafting and dismantling items will also contribute to this skill. Installing Cyberware also adds to this skill.
NOTE: These skills also combine. For example, if you use a Tech Shotgun to make kills you will get both Solo & Engineering skill points. Headshot kills with a blade will get both Headhunter and Shinobi skill points.

You can only respec attribute points once so dont be like me and use it wisely. There is a mod that lets you respec as much as you want, but it would have been nice to be able to play with different builds in the base game.

On the build planner side CDPR has provided it says that I have total of 80 skill points to spare, if my math is correct, even with PL Expansion it's impossible because you can get only 70 (60 from levels and bonus 10 points from the skill progression)
So where are the other 10 skill points? am I missing something? or will levels from 51 to 60 give two instead of one skill point?

so a year and abit ago i used a tool to give myself more points/skills, i went abit overboard and kinda ruined my character, will these changes carry over still to the new system if i start playing again or am i lucky and everything is reset?

Tbh I think they need to give us more skill points and those blue points because really thick everyone would benefit where they can get all skill points up 20 and be able to do everything we can see plus they do need to add more arms to get plus a place to upgrade your cars.

WHAT THE HELL!!??? why don’t my perks look like that?? why is resetting attributes not even possible for me? and i can’t even find the perks i want.. where tf is the Dash and Air dash perk????

When I go to swap out my cyberware, when I remove something, it lowers my max capacity. Then I can’t equip the thing I just took off because I don’t have enough cyberware points. Is this a glitch or something?

Hey in the Technology section I see Edgerunner but I don’t see grease monkey, did they change its name & what’s the best section in technology that will allow u too craft legendary iconics??

Absoutely rediculous that attributes can only be changed once... its a single player game. Im not trying to restart the entire game to play a different play style...I understand they at least tell you that it can only be done once, but to implement that restriction is stupid in the first

can you get every single perk under your attributes? or is there a cap to perk points. If so, what is the max amount of perk points you can distribute??

Ok so as far as leveling up with the new skill tree to get more attributes & skill points how long does it take now cause I’m at level 44 & it looks like it’s taking forever to earn more attributes & skill points, so how long is it suppose to take now??
