Okay, die Kunst, dieses Kleinod der französischen Geigenliteratur zu präsentieren ist dem Virtuosen selbst überlassen, hier kann man sich schon einige Freiheiten herausnehmen, jedoch sollte man dies nie übertreiben. Es muss leicht klingen, allzu viel Gewicht sollte man nicht einbringen, dann bleibt einem beim Zuhören der Mund offenstehen. Definitiv ein interessanter Live-Mitschnitt, vielen Dank dafür!

One of the things I admire about Mutter is that she does not use a shoulder rest. This performance is a little over the top but still quite entertaining. (Even Ivry Gitlis' interpretation is not half as dramatic. It's just one short piece of music, not an opera.) In her personal life, she has always preferred older men. Nobody knows why. Is she about 25 years old in this video?

For once the microphone isn't too close to the instrument, which usually results in that unpleasant scratchy, sound typical of so many violin recordings

In 2':44" she plays D note on G string. She has played same note in her other concerts. But I think it has to be a C note. Because I never heard D from others.

Потрясающее исполнение! Как то не пошло вначале...необычно то, что исполнительница несколько ломает ритм...Но во всем остальном-претензий нет..Полный восторг!!!
