Great performance, fiery and passionate, and a lovely sound by Ms Baeva, rich and powerful and intense. She is an exciting player to watch, throwing off the last page like it was a piece of cake. I really enjoyed it - particularly the gentle little interlude section at around 7:20 - and she certainly kept the orchestra on their toes.

A particularly personal interpretation of a famous violin parade piece. Own, original tempo ideas, extremely virtuoso handling of the instrument, a special, very own sound and "unusual", non-standardized phrasing, sometimes new and refreshing fingering variants. Very exciting.

Не дослушав до конца, но просмотрев до этого около десятка исполнителей этого произведения, можно с твёрдой уверенностью сказать, что у Алёны Баевой есть своё специфическое музыкальное "я"; она ведёт за собой оркестр, а это - встречается ОЧЕНЬ редко.
БРАВО!!!

Eine besonders persönliche Interpretation von einem berühmten Violin Parade-Stück. Eigene, originelle Tempo Vorstellungen, ausgesprochen virtuose Behandlung des Instruments, besonderer, ganz eigener Klang und ungewöhnliche, nicht standartisierte Phrasierung, teilweise neue und erfrischende Fingersatz Varianten. Höchst spannend.
