I have had many jobs over the years and there are 3 people i used to work with that often cross my mind and i think of them fondly.
One day my sister who looks very like me was approached by a woman on the street asking if she was my sister. The woman went on to speak very highly of me.
Funny thing is at the time i had been unfairly treated at the current job i was in and i was upset. It was lovely when my sister told me she bumped into one of my work colleagues from 18 years earlier.
God works in mysterious ways, he gave me a little gift from my old colleague Susan to brighten my week. God Bless Susan.

I'm not sure if Anthony Hopkins said this, but, as I've grown older, I've realised how true this is. When I felt like the ugliest girl for years, people I knew came out of the woodwork much later saying 'oh I always thought you were beautiful' or 'I had a crush on you' or 'there's something about you'. I'm in my 50's now. I always believed the ones who said 'you are unloveable' or 'you are a f*(t c*nt' or 'nobody likes you'. Please learn to recognise the narcissists that come knocking on your door ...darkness feeds off the light.
