I mentioned it during the premiere but I wanted to mention it in the comments as well. I was a bit worried when I saw a cover of this song that the growl was gonna be too forced. I'm all for growl and emotion but also you gotta be safe if you want to be able to sing long term. Which I personally don't think Ado does in her original and I've seen other covers do similar but I won't name anyone. But I was blown away yet again by Kura's killer vocals

Also I find the dualism of how everyone in the premiere (including me) was all freaking out over Kura and it reached the line of "They all want a piece of me but no thank you
Yeah, I’m the shit, I’ll take it all and aim my ego at your head" and I kinda laughed internally but then Kura was all like "I was worried about this one" near the end. I mean I _definitely_ get that sometimes your own brain doesn't reflect reality but like Kura could probably step on me and I would thank him and I don't even swing that way for the most part

I was gonna comment on the arrangement but before I devolve into a blubbering mess wanna give credit to Shiopppang! The art and video and really added to the vibe of the whole thing <3 I may not be an artist myself, but I know they often get overshadowed so I wanted to give credit where credit is due

Now let me proceed to scream about the arrangement Okay first of all I loved that sax/clarinet solo (idk I'm no instrumentalist I just know voice gimme a break) but it definitely lived up to the "swing" in the title and I was HYPED. I also liked how distinctly different it is from the original while also keeping the same feeling to the buildups and drops. It still very distinctly feels like "Usseewa" while also being unique and funky fresh.

I might have more to comment once I grab the instrumental by itself off Patreon but I wanted to keep the premiere a surprise for myself and I ran straight to the comments section (yes it's been like 40 minutes, I edit my longer comments a lot sue me)

tl;dr I LOVE YOU KURA KEEP BEING AWESOME
