I don’t think anything can top this version of the movie, it managed to captured every motion brilliantly. This movie truly has a soul.

I think the title A Star is Born is not only about Ally becoming a star, but also foreshadowing Jackson's death. They say when you die... A Star is Born

Glad they didn't portray him as a cheater.

I think Lady Gaga looks soooo much prettier (and younger) with her brown hair. I believe that is close to her natural color. She should stick with it!

OMG I agree with how Jackson wanted to really support Ally during the Grammy scene. He did not want to derail her career; he was really there to be with her. I do think that the Pretty Woman scene was where Jackson realized that his career is going down, that he is losing significance. I think that was where he poured his frustration.

I've gotten close to the point of suicide, only to be saved by a cop. The signs were all over the film and I had to let my girlfriend know the small details while we were watching it. She didn't expect him to do that. Even after I told her he would. Such as him telling her father in law he could have any of the framed records. Giving his dog a heavy steak. His comfort level on everything near the end. A few more too. This movie was both beautiful and brutal

Girl I walked out of the movie theater with tears running down my NECK. I rarely cry at movies but this one seriously got me

He missed the part of Jackson hiding the lyrics for Ally. He said something cryptic (can’t remember the exact words). It was inferring he hid it someplace she would find it later... like after he’d killed himself. She wasn’t meant to find the lyrics while he was still alive.

Anyone remember what scene I’m referring to? What did you guys get from that scene?

Such a sad movie.

I wouldn't think they'd show Bradley's charcther hanging himself in the garage with his dog watching him in the garage.

I've seen it twice, the 2nd time was much more difficult, because I knew what was coming. I started crying on the middle, when Dave Chappelle first came on the screen. This movie kills me. I love it. I hate crying in public, so I may wait for the dvd to see it again, maybe. I am a glutton for punishment. #Oscargold.

I've got really bad Tinnitus and Hyperacusis (much worse than the main character in this film), also due to live music. And I have had suicidal thoughts often because of that alone. I'm glad they covered the importance of hearing protection and raised the subject of Tinnitus in this movie. It sucks and has had a massive impact on my life. I loved this film in General, excellent performances from Cooper and Germanotta. One of the best music inspired films i've ever seen. Very moving.
