I just ordered 9mm reloads from 2a warehouse today - 1000 rounds for 230 - shipping not bad at $17 for me

I like reloads for training, usually less recoil

Bought a Rock Island M206 last month, the only .38 special ammo available in the four nearby cities was overpriced 125gr TMC Ammo Inc ($36) and 158gr LRN Federal ($44).
Got so disgusted with the prices I learned how to reload my own ammo.
Now I got .38 coming out the ears. 😅

🇦🇺😎👍Thank goodness your back big fella, I was running out of things to think about🏁…..I heard some Chinese whispers the other day that one of Australia’s ammo suppliers will no longer be supplying ammunition to the public as they will only be supplying to the military and the police., not too sure which one but an educated guess might ADI ( Australian defence industries) in Lithgow NSW Australia…..hope the shipping lanes don’t stop or we are screwed….catch you on the weekend🐘

Local Scheel's has the BF deal on Fiocchi 115g 9mm, $15 a box. I have a lot, and Fiocchi isn't my go-to choice, but a deal's a deal.

One of our local tool shops had lots of ammo, however prices are still up. Did get a decent deal on some 223 gold dot and some 380. Not much 357 or 44 mag. Thanks for sharing Tools!

5.7x28 is so difficult to find in Chinada that even with the handgun ban they were literally some of the last pistols to sell. My budget is blown out for this year's black Friday sales. Need to recoup and stock up in the new year. Cheers as always brother! 👍😎

Your Dunham's is the same as my local Academy.
Fully stocked shelves but the prices are a buck or two higher per box than they were a year ago when they hardly had anything.
Those piles can keep collecting dust, as far as I'm concerned.
Online retailers are a much better source right now.

I love 5.7x28. Those are the most expensive ones you got because they're speer hollow points. I get the federal for 30-35 per box and the FN blue tip for 39.99 per box.

I picked up some brass fmj 7.62x25 tokarev ammo .50 cents per round and some 2 1/2 410 slugs $20.00 for 25 rounds

I reloaded some of those Gold Dot projectiles to about 2800 FPS.
Had some fragmenting, but made a nasty wound cavity.
The factory loading is way too light, but the 2800 was a bit much for the projectile.
I think the sweet spot might be ~2300 FPS.

Save the 57 gold dots, I got some T6B rds from elite ammunition several years ago and it was at a completely different level than the FN blue box or American Eagle target ammo. The T6B is now more than $3 a rd if you can ever find it in stock. Maybe chronograph and jelly test a few rds simultaneously to save your rds. I’d like to see how they compare to the T6B stuff.

We got a Rural King it’s probably close to 30 miles give or take from where I live. The Winchester Power Points are some dang good rounds plus Winchester is the only brass I use if I can keep it that is. If I quit reloading Winchester is what I’ll use to hunt I always have it’s done great in what I shoot it in my old Savage 110-E 30-06.
