Speed Ramp & Motion Blur in DaVinci Resolve

Thanks for the tutorial. I think I am missing something here. You made a compound clip which included speed ramps in between and added motion blur on it. How did it know to use the blur only during the speed ramps?

confused about one thing, how does it know to just add the motion blur to the speed ramp parts? OMG this is 1000x easier in Final Cut with a plug in.

Imagine an FPv drone flying a wheat field, fast and near the ground
the image would look clear, but I would like to create a progressive blur at the bottom, that would only affect the wheat image, and thus creating a speed effect, similar to when you apply a nR filter

How did you get "Select Tool" window to pop up when your cursor was on "Median1"?

But it's not natural motion blur is it? When you speed up footage, frames get dropped, and then adding motion blur asks the tool to "guess" the path that the moving parts of your footage took within that discarded time frame. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to use those dropped frames for more accurate interpolation data? Does anyone know how to blend together every 5 or so frames into single frames to get a natural blur? I still love the video btw.

Hi thanks for the idea, problem i have with Resolve motion blur is when u wanna do speed ramp transition and the exact frame between cuts looks weird and glitchy unlike the After Effects. Any solution for this?

Its so hecking annoying that blackmagic do nothing with trash motion blur in resolve... i would gladly trade all this fancy AI stuff for AE like motion blur and stab
