Archetypes of the Collective Unconscious | How to Use them for Inner Growth | Jungian Psychology | Archetypes Explained

This video is all about the Jungian Archetypes of the Collective Unconscious and to integrate them into the personal conscious mind. This can help with unearthing hidden potential and reintegration of the shadow.

The Archetypes are seen across cultures and eras throughout mythology and other forms of literature. It can even be seen in paintings and sculptures. But it's important to realize that the Archetypes all reside with in our personal psyche, and we can access them and integrate their strengths. They are part of us and we are part of them.

So, we can integrate the Archetypes from the Collective Unconscious to embody their strengths. But it is important to integrate them in such a way that we don't repress other personality traits.

So, in this video, I give a simple process for integrating archetypes that many people have likely already engaged in as children and teens.

Though the theory of the Archetypes and Jungian Psychology originates with Carl G. Jung, I share my own perspective on the Archetypes.

I just found this channel. Excellent material. I have been communing with the divine archetypes of India (Shiva, Skanda, Ganesha, Vishnu, Hanuman) for some time. The interesting thing about archetypes is that there is no real line between the so called 'physical' and what we may term conceptual. You can go either way with it, especially for the purpose of self development. In the end, I have always regarded the divine archetypes of India (and other traditions) as aspects of myself, so they are never strangers to me. This is a very powerful practice. Use it as a pure devotional practice (Bhakti) or use it as an energy of empowerment or both. Great channel.
