What sucks about The King of Fighters 2009:


· The film's roster has 9 fighters taken from KOF '98, the original amount in the game had 38 (At least they added Mr. Big).

· KOF '98 originally had 12 teams, this movie only has 2: The Rugal Team and The Savior Team (where Mai takes Chizuru's place).

· They got the fighting styles, special moves, and super powers all wrong (Except Mr. Big's).

· The casting choices were a joke, especially Terry Bogard who looks like Dateline NBC's Chris Hansen wearing a Thrift Store-budget cosplay. I don't think Gordon Chan wanted Terry in the film.

· Almost every film involving David Leitch (Terry) has a lesbian moment! Mature and Vice aren't very close, one is a bisexual and the other is a sadist.

· The plot focused more on the artifacts such as the "Kusanagi Sword", which no one cares about, not even SNK cares.

• KOF is supposed to be adapted into a series, not a movie. Because there are so many character backstories to explore.

· HITMAN aside... The late-2000s was such a dark year for both video game and manga adaptations. The Top 5 being: Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, Dragonball: Evolution, The Last Airbender, Tekken: Iron Fist Hegemony, and of course KOF 2009.
