There's only so much veggie tacos and burritos one can have from the likes of Taco Bell and Chipotle etc.. When i arrived in California, I knew I had to find the most authentic Halal mexican food and finally try some halal Carne Assada!
Introducing El Halal Amigos, starting as an extremely popular food cart, the owner, Hisham has now finally opened the first restaurant! Located in San Jose, in the San Francisco Bay area. Hisham is half Palestinian and half Mexican and has done an amazing job creating an authentic menu.
