Genetics of Stuttering on House of Wellness

Professor Angela Morgan leads the Speech and Language Group at the Murdoch Children's and recently joined The House Of Wellness to talk about the Genetics of Stuttering Study which is trying to better understand the causes of stuttering.

The international study aims to pinpoint the genes that predispose individuals to stuttering and hopes to revolutionise future research into the causes, treatment and prevention of the disorder.

The Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, WEHI - The Walter and Eliza Hall Institute, QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, Griffith University and The University of Melbourne are coordinating the Australian arm of this global study.
