I think you meant to say that you are interpolating the values. When I took numerical methods used the term extrapolation when the values where outside of the range of the table. Though it has been a long time since I took those classes so I may have forgotten.

Sorry but there are a small mistake: 6/10*0.00053 = 0.000318 not 0.00038
