I agree man, I’m a huge fan of The Armed and I’ve loved most of the stuff they’ve done up to this point, however this album was really hard to listen to. They might as well have just played “On Jupiter” on repeat, added more compression and called it good. There has to be a balance imo for noise rock to be tasteful.

Some great tracks but the mix is so muddy. The Adult Swim session and the mix on the live videos for All Futures and especially An Iteration are so much better.

Can't discern any hooks? What? The chorus to All Futures? An Iteration? The verses in the first half of Where Man Knows Want? The bassline to Faith in Medication? The *ENTIRETY* of Average Death more or less? AND Bad Selection? I think you just can't adjust to anything that has slightly more compression than Jane Doe or Calculating Infinity, ngl.
