As a few people were confused about this and I probably could've worded it better: Argus does, as I already pointed out in my last Hera vid, NOT proc Gem of Isolation. However, having your abilities slow enemies makes it significantly easier for Argus to reach them AND proc his own slow as well, so it creates a lot of synergistic CC that allow him so easily proc the tick damage of his 3 as well. Also, Argus doesn't benefit from Obsidian Shard, but it's still your best bet against a tanky team when playing burst Hera.

Some changes I want in future:
1) make it easier for Argus to target structures (seriously, it’s the worst thing about him)
2) Make her 1&2 interact more with Argus (her one maybe does more damage when he’s out, or a slow? And make Argus do more damage to polymorphed enemies) Make it so if Argus is out, you are to be seen as a threat, not as a nuisance

Argus needs a full rework. Nu Wa's minions have better AI then Argus.

Weird. I feel that Polymorph is a little bit faster but Royal Assault is still slowwww. Also from my perspective of view Hera is Izma and Argus is Kronk from the Emperor movies. Especially when Hera says "ARGUS. YOU MUST PROTECT ME. YOU ARE FAILING!!!"

Argus needs:
Easy tower attack. It's really bad and annoying.
Better AI. He is baaad..he randomly switches targets for no reason!

I might be one of the few, but I absolutely enjoyed playing Hera. She was awfull but the challenge was fun. I just started her with Soul reaver and she felt like a real mage the rest of the game.

After this buff I'm owning with her a lot, but one mechanic that doesn't synergy well is with her 1st and 2nd ability. The basic combo is to poly-morph so they're cced and slowed then use her 1st ability; however, the poly-morph has a range of 80 but you can't really make use of that long range when trying to use this combo since the 1st ability only has a range of 45. I'm having to get gem of isolation to be able to catch up to them before poly-morph wears off.
Maybe they should increase the range of the 1st ability so this combo synergizes better, maybe a range of 60 (the same range as discordia's ability that's similar).
Also an issue with her ult is when the enemies are running away and Argus is chasing one of them and you want him to focus a different enemy that's also running away (maybe because they're lower health), but when you press 4 to bring up Argus' targeter so you can hover the targeter over that said enemy and have Argus focus that enemy god, Argus runs back to you when you press 4 thus creating or widening the gap between himself and the enemies unless you're able to switch targets insanely quickly.
ALSO, I don't think the landing damage of Argus procs item ability passives like soul reaver.

Honestly I think Hera is now one of the best mages. I have a pretty high win rate with her (67%) and I usually 1 shot combo people. Case u were wondering my build,
1. Book of Thoth
2. Cooldown boots, late game trade them for pen boots.
3. Chrono's Pendant
4. Soul Gem
5. Shawmans Ring
6. Spear of Desolation

As someone who took top damage quite often with Hera before these buffs (I haven't even played them) I agree with your leveling system at the start (1 - 2 - 1 - 3 - 4) and then rush the 4 and 1, but then I like to alternate between my 2 and 3, I believe one is just as essential as the other in her kit really, they both provide possible escapes as well as damage output. I sometimes think that the buffs Hera got may have been too much, and maybe the reason she is pushed away is because people aren't used to having a minion like Argus, one that is based so heavily on positioning and has a real health bar, one that you don't blow up for a stun like Nu Wa.

Fun fact Hera bug. If you are slow immune you are also immune to her polymorph

One adjustment Hera needs is to push both gods and minions into Argus hands when using her 1. It’s a risky trade off for being agro forces you to use your 3 and would make her better over all also her one would be a good defensive tool to compensate increase the cool down by 2

These buffs are great. 20% slow is what I needed. Hera is about predicting enemy movement. People so used to playing easy gods with high rewards. Her passive is better because plenty times when you go to use Argus your shroud is on cooldown. This will help secure that aoe reset.

Play her solo, and build her bruiser imo. Start with Tank starter item, Health flask, and boots. Penetration boots, then stone and bov, obviously counter your lane opponent first. Then you can get cloaks and at the end of the game, sell the BOV for pendant. Or get pendant and then sell the BOV for 2nd cloak. Starting with magis blessing is a lot riskier, but can be done depending on your opponent.

I think if Argus was smaller, then he might not get caught on walls and such quite as much.

She was already my favorite goddess in the game, and I actually thought she was pretty good already. But these buffs have elevated my power and playability so much, and I'm surprising a lot of teammates with how good she is.
