I saw my father cry one time that I can remember. I was 9 years old and he sat me down to tell me that my grandfather, his father died and even then he choked it back as best he could and a tear or two came out and his voice shook a bit. The next thing he said is are you okay. Miss ya Dad.

I can get emotional watching a movie and I don’t see anything wrong with that.
Not only I don’t feel less of a man, I actually believe that a real man can live his emotions without feeling weak.
Edit, in order to put an end to the manipulation of my words: Getting emotional doesn’t mean sobbing. Capability of self control is indispensable, denying emotions is toxic.
