I can barely cry myself. Sometimes I wish to cry, but can't. Just get emotional.

The tears of a man are the silent language of a broken heart

This is so true. I have social anxiety and am very cold and distant. In over 20 years I have maybe cried 3 times. However, I often suddenly feel like my eyes get a bit wet (it’s not connected to any feeling) in situations where I feel like I somehow „connect“ to a different human being. I am immediately ashamed to be moved by something so trivial. It can be as simple as me talking to a stranger and agreeing on some point, which makes it even more „embarrassing“ to my twisted mind.

I can tear up easily but i try to keep quiet because whenever i cried as a kid, my mom would tell me to stop and that “you’re a man” and men dont cry. And i was a young boy like 9 years old when she said that, now im a fully grown man and i cry a lot 🥺

Man, I can't cry in sad situations. Even if a relative dies, I don't feel like I want to cry. I am not depressive or a sad guy, I just don't feel anything in these situations. I'm afraid I won't feel anything either when my mom or dad dies.

At this point in my life, crying is like a sneeze that never actually happens.

Even though I am a woman I can relate a lot to how it feels to not be able to cry. It’s common for men not to be able to cry because of toxic masculinity, but when I was younger I was told when I cried and was upset it was annoying, and it made me more vulnerable so I mistook vulnerability for weakness and thought it was wrong, and now I have to trick myself to feel emotional sometimes. Everyone should feel comfortable crying, holding in your emotions sucks.

Feeling a little blue? That’s normal! Sometimes we feel sad and we want to feel all the feels, be alone, let the emotions wash over us, and maybe even have a good cry. It’s cathartic and healing and so human. So if you need some sad quotes or quotes about grief to describe all that you’re feeling, we got you

Feeling sad is just as natural as being happy. It’s important to take the time to understand your feelings and work them out. Feeling down in the dumps is something we can all relate to, so don’t be afraid, to be honest about your emotions with someone you trust. A few ways to help you deal with your bad mood are to journal, spend time with family and friends, or listen to music. Exercise is also a great way to get motivated and boost positive energy. There is no shame in having a solo dance party or putting on a cheesy movie. Laughter is a medicine that can help pull you out of any funk.

It’s been almost 30 years for me. Every time I try something internal blocks it from happening.

Honestly I think what it takes to be a Madness and not be weak which means not being emotional the only thing you're supposed to do is just work provide and protect you don't need emotions or feelings

Crying is one form of catharsis but I don’t think we should all be on the surface to placate those that can only be on the surface.

I find it very hard to cry too
I'd lay down at night wanting to cry my eyeballs out but not a single tear would come
