WHEN TO EXIT THE WATER🚨⏰ 6 TIGER SHARKS GET CURIOUS #Sharks #Shark #SharkDiving #Ocean #oceanramsey

Knowing when to respect a sharks space and read the situation is important, and just as important as learning emergency redirection techniques in case you cannot immediately exit the water. I saw the competitive behavior building with the following below and watched the "FOMO" in the face of multiple sharks, a few more are off screen out the side and behind me and I knew they were going to keep coming to check me out. Had I been guiding guests in the water with me @OneOceanDiving I would have asked them to get out of the water long before it built to this point (sharks are actually generally very patient and will try to talk things out for a while before escalating to highly competitive and rapid movements) but since I was on my own by myself, just out on the Research boat with @juansharks between charters at another survey site marker I opted to stay in water to film their behavior and redirected as needed but seeing even more approaches coming from sharks just off the side of my video frame I realized it was best to get out and let the sharks sort out their social hierarchy and calm down to their usual more peaceful coexistence.

Thank you guys so much for following me on YouTube and Instagram and TikTok. When you were moving towards the stair with the cameras back turned away from the view of the sharks, my mind went "get out of the water get out of the water get out of the water"

i felt the force of the impact of the first shark 😬 -
Your presence of mind, calmness and alertness in the situation is impressive.
Your years of experience with sharks really shows in this type of situation. Glad you’re safe 🌊🩵

I think I remember a shark documentary saying how, although sharks are more solitary animals, they can act cooperatively. Not sure if that's right. I'm bringing it up because I wonder if when there are so many like in this video of Ocean's the sharks are smart enough to work together.

You gotta remember when you enter those waters, that’s there world, jus because they wasn’t hungry doesn’t mean they won’t kill you.!! Respect the ocean..

What I appreciate most about you and watching your videos is how much you respect them. You know that no matter how long you have done this, it is their environment and their instinct and you are the ‘visitor’ and observer. It’s wonderful to see.

It's just a matter of time, kiddo. I've lost two friends to sharks, one to a Bull and the other to a Tiger. Both were certified Dive Masters. One friend was killed while filming a documentary in Australia that never aired. He was taken by an 18 foot Tiger. The second friend was killed in Hawaii by a Bull Shark in 3.5 feet of water.
The video footage of my friend's death from the Tiger revealed that he was doing the same thing with the shark that's being done in this video. The shark would come in and at the last minute, my friend guided the shark's head away with his hand. This happened three times and on the third, it took the shark less than 1.4 seconds to put my friend's head, left shoulder, left arm and 2/3 of his torso in its mouth. This was established from the dive footage. From start to finish, the shark bit my friend in half in less than 4 seconds and the shark came back looking for the rest.
There's no future in this for you. Its just a matter of time. If you have people in your life who love you, please stop for their sakes.

Yep, you gotta know never let tigers begin to try one after the other when in group.
There will be a moment when you can't manage and one of them will investigate.

There is no way we could redirect if they were in full attack mode. Look at the impact of the first shark and that was a nothing bump. Let's be respectful...it is an Apex Predator for a reason. A human could not outrun, overpower or redirect a Tiger or Bull shark (and obviously other species too) if it was starving and they came at us full steam ahead.

The only time iv seen you done the right reasonble thing, exiting the deep blue sea, before ....acidents accur with a big shark,
Glad to see your keeping your mind straight when dealing with these types of sharks, due to size and all.

Yeah…what like 10 tigers 🦈 All 15ish feet. And the impact when they came to “explore “ you freaked me out!!! Smart getting out, you’re intuition was right on 😦

How do you even find them. Are they tagged? How do you always know where the sharks will be? I’m a certified diver myself and still have never even seen a shark in the ocean yet. I’m not trying to look for them. I’ll stay away lol. I’m just curious. Is it luck, or do you some how track their movement?
