The Exit 8 - All Anomalies & Ending

Показать описание
A compilation of the anomalies for The Exit 8 and its ending. Traveling through a seemingly endless underground tunnel filled with anomalies the builders forgot to remove when remodeling, it's up to you to figure out the right path to get the hell out.

It's a short walking simulator mixed with Observation Duty mechanics that's quite fun. You continue forward if the hall has no anomalies and turn back if there's an anomaly until after eight successes in a row you get the stairs out. It definitely would have been neat to see more hostile anomalies. Getting caught by any of the hostile anomalies or entering the open side door or the fake stairs just has things go black and set you back at the beginning.

Definitely looking forward to more stuff in this style.

the most unrealistic anomaly here is seeing a happy japanese salaryman

The first anomaly I ever encounted was the Staring guy, and let me tell you, it struck so much uneasiness in me in an instant after 6 cycles of him not staring.

I love how this game is all about really small paranoid things like a guy staring you, a door handle on the wrong place etc very minimalistic approach

The water is such a good jumpscare, because not only is it very loud and sudden after the rest of the game has already built up suspense, it literally follows you into what had previously been "safe" territory for a while

One of the anomalies is straight up someone just having the time of their life and nothing being able to hamper that mood. We live in a society.

The woman peeping trough the door sent chills down my whole body damn

People be encountering the stairs one first and thinking they won the game and then not playing again afterwards. 😭

This game does such a great job of always keeping me on the edge. Not huge, cheap jump scares. The environment is quiet but makes you paranoid. Wonderfully designed.

Now that I saw every anomaly with my hand covering half the screen, I can confidently watch any gameplay of this video

Honestly what I love about this game is how it starts to make you question your sanity and memory. Something that already exists like a vent even makes you feel uneasy and like you missed something. Great horror game

Props to the man just casually walking and not dying while all of this happens.
Why can't we get cool powers like this guy?

The man with the briefcase running at you has got to be the scariest one.

Video's great and all, but I personally love the chapter names. "Surf's Up", "Is This a No Smoking Zone?", and "Huge Man (Not that one)" genuinely got a chuckle out of me.

I'm sorry, but the Wallflower is simultaneously hysterical and disturbing at the same time.

I love how the devs actually made the river has ripple effect around the business man (the man is too busy with his business to even care about it though)

my god, I watched Mark's video of this and I'm glad he didn't ignore that invisible body and decided to turn around immediately that was such a jumpscare

Man, hearing the sounds outside at the top of the stairway instantly transported me back to my stay in Shinjuku. Specifically the sounds of the crossing signs

I love how that old guy with the briefcase is just walking like nothing is happening

For someone else who has explored the underground subway tunnels in Japan, Taiwan and Singapore, I can say this is pretty much where the game developer is getting ideas from.
