This is a common misconception that the bus drives slowly and opens doors at all stops due to superstition. The bus must stop at every stop and open its doors if it is the last bus to prevent people from missing it and getting stranded. The bus may also drive at slower speeds as bus captains are not allowed to be too early from the scheduled arrival time.. These rules do not just apply to 975 but every other bus route.

I'm a gravebuilder there and the reason the bus is so slow is because of the 60km speed limit. There are cameras down there everywhere 😂

I'm a bus enthusiasts, and the reason why buses stop at bus stops is not to "alight people"

Sometimes it is just to keep up with timetable or to make sure the timetable machine thing knows the bus passed by the bus stop.

Don't worry about the stray dogs: be grateful they are there because they keep you safe by barking and chasing away the spirits

Anyhow la pls. I was in Sungei Gedong camp during NS. Every nights out, we will go JEM so we take 975 and stop at the bus stop at the cemetry. The grave is in spitting distance lol and we will change bus to jem and vice versa, Never felt anything.

Every week take that same bus, go camp in and out. Never felt anything or saw anything.

I also remember one time after guard duty we unlucky book out around 11am, we took the last 975 bus from Gedong and also never feel anything.

This 975 route being haunted is bullshit, just because go through LCK and cemetery area, does not mean its haunted lol

The cemetery is the most peaceful place actually. When a person passes & don’t wanna leave (have grudges etc), they will be attached/stuck at a certain place where they’re familiar/once lived

Sorry but I ain't randomly picking anybody up from that area at 2am either. LOL.

One does not need to wait till 12 midnight or Hungry Ghost month or Halloween
to have supernatural encounters on bus 975
along the lonely stretch of the Lim Chu Kang Road after passing the Lim Chu Kang cemetery.

We had such an unintended encounter in June 2015.
Standing outside the bus when it stopped near the Straits of Johor,
my photos of the bus captured ghostly images inside the bus.

I had taken this bus in the mid night but it's normal that driver stop on every bus stop and open the door for a while to keep the time table.

Don't make a story that is non sense

Never take 975C unless you want to stay at lim chu kang whole night

1) the buses stop at empty bus stops and opening the door is to clock in the bus arrival timing.
2) government has started to clear the cemetery. My grandparents were buried there but has already been exhumed and placed at the urn towers nearby. They r developing a new military training complex spanning the entire lim chu Kang area.
3) I used to work at gedong camp. And would often have to start work early or end work late depending on my shift. I'm talking 2-4 am timings. Sure it sends chills down your spine but after a while it's just normal. The spirits in the cemetery are at peace. Chinese call it 入土为安. Literally enter earth in peace. So there really isn't any benevolent spirit wondering around unless u stupidly say or do things to disrespect them.

This is seriously a waste of time. During my NSF days I had to take the bus back to camp before 2359 and had to walk in for at least several minutes until I reached the guard house. I’m sure many are still doing it so what’s the biggie? Lim Chu Kang isn’t that secluded considering there so many army camps around and farms.
