Headrest Reset Mercedes! Resetting deployed W212 E-Class headrest! *BIG MONEY SAVER!*

Показать описание
In this video, I show you how to reset your headrest on my Mercedes Benz E63 (E-Class) W212. After being rear-ended my headrest deployed, which didn't even realize they did. After some research, I discovered there are some headrests that can be rested and some that can't. Thankfully, the Mercedes W212 headrest can be reset.

Watch as I show you have to save TIME and MONEY by doing the reset of your headrest yourself. Dealers will do it, but will definitely charge you a couple hundred to do it.

About four years ago, I was also rear ended in my W212 E63S sedan. And that is when I too found out about the system. Works like a charm. I had no whiplash at all. Without it I sure would have

Thank you for the video. I watched others before seeing your video and they made it seem complicated. I watched your video 1 time and went to my Mercedes and popped the headrests back in in 20 seconds. Thanks again!

This just happened to me. They're re-paving a road and left a 3" lip in the road. On my way to work, 3 am, NO signage saying Bump, or whatever I hit this lip in the road at at least 35 mph. both driver and passenger head rests opened up, ( thought I lost my front end of my E350, it was soo loud) . Thanks sooo much for the tutorial on how to get them back together. You Rock!!

YouTube ❤. I swear Is the best! Thank you for this video. I took my jeep to jeep dealerships cause engine light and gas cap warning came on the dashboard. Few issues listed so I said I’ll pay for the diagnostic and pick up my jeep until I have enough money to get everything fixed. I don’t live far at all from the dealership and I didn’t go anywhere since picking it up. Few days later which is today I went to the market I noticed this issue with passenger headrest. So I went to the dealership to ask about it they said it’s due to collision . Ummmm what collision? I haven’t been anywhere since the dealership. I don’t see any signs of collision anywhere on my jeep. Something isn’t right and I’m going to have them check the cameras for this from the time I dropped off my jeep at the dealership up until I went to pick it up. Im so annoyed . I noticed the mileage went up as well.
But at least it looks simple to fix as shown in your video . Thanks again. Subbed and liked!!

Hi, I'm looking for a technology that detects an imminent collision from the rear using a radar sensor to signal the active headrest (consisting of a motor and mechanism to adjust it). My question is: does this technology work? If yes, can we discuss it further?

I couldn’t get my drivers side to reset. The pin fell down inside. I was able to retrieve it with duct tape on the end of a long slim screwdriver. It still wouldn’t latch and I realized the retention strap was folding between the pin and the locking mechanism. I was able to get it to lock when I had another person pull up on the strap, and then I was able to tuck the strap back in after it locked.

Very informative video. Thank you.. Would you happen to know how fast someone would have to be going for these to deploy when getting rear-ended?
