As a Canadian, I watch that video of the Jan 6 attack on the capitol with extreme disappointment. One of the thugs carried a Canadian flag. I am so disgusted to see a Canadian flag displayed at an attempted insurrection of the US gov't. I'd like to know that the Canadian flag bearer has been locked up for the rest of their life. He did not represent Canada on that day.

I find the fact that it required a young Marine to remind the Vice President of the United States of his duty to our Constitution almost tragically appalling.

And it's why--despite Pence's decision to do the right thing on January 6th by refusing to allow Trump to become America's first dictator--I will never have a lick of respect for him.
