Ukrainian military tests robodog ground drone

Ukrainian Armed Forces have been testing the use of a robotic dog that could be used to clear mines from the battlefield.

Footage posted on Telegram showed the robodog hopping along a dirt track, tracking through the undergrowth and running alongside Ukrainian personnel, as shown in the video above.

The post from the editor-in-chief of Censor.Net, Yuriy Butusov, said the robodog was being put through its paces by the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade.

Not a fan of robots in war.
But if we're realistic, it can't be prevented.
If it saves human lives, I guess it's okay.
For example, detecting mines.

But what we do with it is up to us.
Look at my Sparky robot, it's the same robot as in the video. But it has a different task.

Given how the ukrainians have improved drones, rc car'd evs etc, robodog is gunna be real scary if any good, or real fragmented as a mine clearence if it keeps getting tangled.

not sure if it is a good idea... it is not sustainable to use such an expensive tool to deal with $20 worth of anti personal mines. anyway, dealing with ap mines is always the first priority. let's see how it works.
