First 8 Years Speaker Series (featuring, Dr. Iheoma Iruka)- November 11, 2021

The First 8 Years Speakers Series will create a space in which the local, state, and national early childhood community can come together to learn about key themes, research, and cutting-edge topics in early childhood. Speakers will talk across the research, policy, and practice arenas to provide our audience with content and tools they can bring back to their work for integration. During our inaugural event, Dr. Iheoma Iruka shared a context for disparities in the early childhood development, care, and education spaces, as well as strategies stakeholders can implement to protect, promote, and preserve the experiences of young children of color.
