Mazda CX-3 Review: The GOOD, the BAD and the ALTERNATIVE!

Check out that Mazda CX-3 review! The CX-3 received a lot of updates for 2019! In the overcrowded subcompact crossover segment, every update count! A visual refresh of the exterior includes a new grille, piano black, and chrome exterior accents, new LED taillights, and new 18-inch wheel design. Inside, a redesigned center console provides more storage space, a new rear center armrest features built-in cup holders, and the seats are redesigned with plusher cushions. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are now standard; adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, and automatic high-beam headlamps are now optional features. But now the Cx-3 four-cylinder engine also get a little boost up to 146-hp!

Crosstrek all the way in that segment for our harsh winter conditions. CX3 is too small, HRV ok for a daily normal driving, Fiat really? No way! I personally think that Subaru Crosstrek second generation is an outstanding vehicle compared to the competition.

I live in Alberta where it snows a lot in winter, thinking to buy cx3,
My concern is my its ground Clearance, is it enough to handle snow ?

wondering how it slides as an awd auto, looks like you can get some angle out of it but does the tc kill the fun ala alot of small x overs

In other word if u buy cx3 buy the biggest rubber u can get to counter that firm set up

This review has a lot of useful information but I do not consider the Honda HR-V to be a true subcompact. It seems more like a compact with and undersize engine. If the engine was large enough to give adequate performance then it would be no different than other compact crossovers and much larger than true subcompacts.

The CX5 has the tiniest seats in the segment. Can’t even imagine this car. The FWD bias of the AWD is not the best, honestly. Perfect for a short 5 ft Asian or Latino person. Not anyone else.
