Biodiversity is the name we give to the variety and amount of all life on Earth. All living things exist within their own communities, or ecosystems - oceans, forests, deserts, ice caps and even cities. All this put together is biodiversity: the volume of life on Earth as well as how different species interact with each other and with the physical world around them.

Discover why we rely on biodiversity, and find out how you can protect it.

Imagine if we just kept letting nature recover and stopped terrorizing the environment.

Biodiversity is the variability among living organisms from all source including terrestrial . Marine and other aquatic ecosystems and the ecological complexes of which they are 0art this includes diversity within species, and of ecosystem .🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️

Biodiversity is the variety and variability life on Earth. Biodiversity is typically a measure of variation at the genetic, species and ecosystem level. Terrestrial biodiversity is usually greater near the equator, which is the result of the warm climate and high primary productivity. Biodiversity is not distributed evenly on Earth and is richest on the tropics. These tropical forest ecosystems cover less than 10 of earth's surface and contain about 90 percent of the world's species.Marine biodiversity is usually highest along coasts in the Western Pacific, where sea surface temperature is highest and in the mid-latitudinal band all oceans. Biodiversity generally tends to cluster in hotspots and has been increasing through time, but will be likely to slow in the future.
Rapid environmental changes typically cause mass extinctions. More 99.9 percent of all species that ever lived on Earth, amounting to over to five billion species, are estimated to be extinct. Estimates on the number on Earth's current species range from 10 to 14 million, of which about 1, 2 million have been documented and over 86 percent have not yet been described. More recently, in may 2016, scientists reported than 1 trillion species are estimated to be on Earth currently with only one- thousandth of one percent described. The total amount related of DNA base pairs on Earth is estimated 5*10(la puterea 37) and weighs 50 billion tonnes. In comparison, the total mass of the biosphere has been estimated to be as much as 4( trillion tons of carbon). In july 2016, scientists reported identifying a set of 355 genes from the LAST UNIVERSAL COMMON ANCESTOR(LUCA) of all organisms living on Earth.

Don't take any of this lightly. Please- don't you care about yourselves and and your families? Your friends and ancestors to come? None of them will be here if we don't make our change. None of them.

Problem is that this message isn't heard (and they don't care anyway) by mining, logging and agri-business companies in Asia, Latin America, etc.. British people are fairly in tune to these ideas but countries elsewhere are doing very little to stop biodiversity loss.
