He was such an incredibly handsome man actually the whole family was gorgeous!! But it's so sad to see that first picture he was so frail thin and so extremely tired looking and we all know what was soon to come after this photo...so heartbreaking

Poor Nicholas by all accounts was not a bad person. But he was so inept at his job of being the Tsar of Russia that his entire reign was just one blunder after another.

How extremely handsome he was. As horrible as life became, he did do as he had always and only wanted to do and that was spending his time w his family! A family man--was what he wanted to be, only! The irony of it. ❤

Nicholas II would be proud of Russia now, going back to its Christian routes, to its traditional family routes, he will never be forgotten. And as Orthodox Christians may God forgive those for their deeds because as Jesus said whilst crucified "Forgive them for they do not know what they are doing". Rest in paradise Nicholas II, and inspiration and hard worker to the Russian people.
