I enjoyed seeing the hibiscus side by side, it helps with the size and shape of the different varieties. It's amazing to see the leaves not eaten by the dreaded Japanese Beetle, which is a problem bug for us more east.

Heidi another awesome video on hardy hibiscus. On your last video I commented I had 10. On this video I can say I am the proud “ Momma” of 17. The last 6 are Perfect Storm. I have Evening Rose and love the dark foliage contrasted with the flowers. I also have an old hardy hibiscus of the upright columnar type which has been blooming for about 20 years. It has red flowers and is over 6’ tall this year. I’m in north central Illinois. Loved the video, thanks.

Dang it Heidi! Now I have to order a whole truck load of new hibiscus! I only have 20 or so, lol. For any customers, perfect storm is an amazing performer and super pretty. Evening Rose actually kind of glows in the dark at twilight. Both are a must have. So many more great choices!

I have 5. I have 1 lavender PW that came out last year & got it on sale at the end of the season, 2 that aren’t PW brands & I bought 2 of the evening rose -I think it’s called that- this year and they are all stunning. The PW lavender one is HUGE. I’m 5’7 and it’s at least as tall as me. I’m probably going to have to move it.
Heidi, that might be a good video subject. How and when to dig up and transplant your hardy hibiscus 🌺 I’m sure I’m not the only one who has planted it in the wrong spot d/t is size & not realizing what I was doing. lol 😆
