Dude! U make perfect M&T joints and then beat nails in crocked like a wild man?!?! Unforgivable 😢.
Drill dowels in from the perpendicular side of each leg and flush em up. Use a different species of wood for the dowels and youll get a complimentary finish between the two. Or, if you must - nail from the top down and bottom up. Very cool idea

You spent all that time on mortise and tenon joints and then nailed it anyway. Looks good but dowels thru the joint would have been a better choice.
